we are all allies here.
Queer love deserves safety. Always.
At Medusa, we’re building more than just a dating app — we’re creating a space where LGBTQ+ people feel seen, protected, and empowered. We recognize that queer and trans folks are disproportionately targeted for harassment and violence on dating platforms. That’s why Medusa is different.
Our app was built with survivors at the center — and that includes the queer community. From inclusive safety features to trauma-informed community standards, we’re doing the work to ensure that your identity is not a risk factor when looking for connection.
Here’s how we support our LGBTQ+ users:
Identity-Inclusive Profiles: Medusa supports a wide range of gender identities and sexual orientations — and never forces you into a binary box.
Safety-Centered Design: With features like our panic button, Citizen app integration, and block/report tools that actually work, your safety is prioritized at every step.
Queer-Specific Moderation: We work with LGBTQ+ consultants to train moderators on the unique threats queer and trans users face — from microaggressions to targeted abuse.
Free Therapy & Support: If you've experienced sexual assault through Medusa or any other dating app, we offer free therapy, with LGBTQ+-competent therapists who affirm your identity.
Medusa is a safe space — not a rainbow-washed afterthought.
We know love isn’t always easy to navigate, especially for those who’ve been hurt or erased by other platforms. Medusa is here to help you reconnect — with care, respect, and community.
